The Georgia Council for the Social Studies has announced this year's

It will not come as a surprise to many of you that our very own Ms. Geri Flanary is the 2016-2017 recipient of this recognition.
Ms. Flanary will be honored at the October GCSS Conference in Athens, GA and will also be recognized at the GCPS  Board Meeting on October 20.
Please join me in congratulating one of Duluth's finest educators for this well deserved recognition. Ms. Flanary, thank you for your leadership within our school, your love for our students and for representing us so well throughout the district and the state of Georgia.
