ESSENTIALS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The objective of this course is to educate community leaders and elected officials on the essential components of economic development. Topics covered will include: What is economic development?; Keys to successful business recruitment; A question & answer session with a panel of local/regional economic developers; And an audience engagement session discussing regional opportunities, challenges and success strategies.
