Summer is Heating UP!!!

The weather this year has certainly been an exercise in extremes. Hope you're all managing to keep cool as everyone across the country is experiencing very hot temperatures. While you're hiding out in the air conditioning, think about planning a cruise to Alaska for next summer. I'll be headed there at the end of August and looking forward to cool weather. Recently returned from our European Adventure where we were in the midst of a heat wave in Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam. No one is escaping the heat!
Keep hydrated!

Our European Adventure Was Amazing!!!
Our recent cruise onboard Celebrity Reflection was like a big reunion. The majority of participants were repeat travelers with our groups and a good time was had by all. Our adventure began in Dublin and continued on to Belfast, Cork, Liverpool, Dover, Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam. It was the perfect itinerary as all ports were docked and we had private accessible shore excursions everywhere we visited. I think I ate my way through Europe! Not only did we enjoy the yummy waffles in Bruges and the delicious baguette sandwiches in Paris, the food served on the ship was delicious as well. Celebrity's specialty restaurants were a real treat. Everyone in the group was able to choose one restaurant to go to and then we had a farewell dinner at the Lawn Club where they grill your food right in front of you. Everyone truly loved this experience and I would highly recommend it. Celebrity provided us with excellent service and I look forward to cruising with them again. I was very impressed with our visit to Liverpool where we had a walking tour and visited the Beatles Story. Being a Baby Boomer and growing up with the Beatles, this was quite an experience. Everything came to life and Liverpool was much more impressive than I had expected. Paris is always a magical place to visit as were all the other ports. Our tours were broken down into small groups and we had fantastic and very knowledgable tour guides. Thanks to everyone who was with us and hope we meet again on a future adventure!
Here's A Travel Tip For YOU....
Traveler luggage with hand drawn clothes and icons on grungy background
I've told you about using Packing Cubes in the past and how much I love them. Everyone on our Europe Cruise received a set of these and I hope they all loved them as well. Well, now we have another packing tip for you. Do you know that if a sudden thunderstorm strikes while they're loading or unloading your luggage, your bags can sit on the tarmac until they call an all clear? In the meantime, your bags are getting soaked and, if you have soft side luggage as I do, everything on the inside can be getting soaked also. Not a good thing. So, next time you're ready to pack, be sure and use those packing cubes but place them inside a large heavy duty trash bag which will protect all your contents from the elements. Better safe than sorry. Be sure and pack an extra bag or two as well. Happy Packing!
We Do Individual & Group Travel

Do you know that we actually plan more trips for individuals than we do for our groups? We love when you participate in our groups but please remember to call us when you want to plan a vacation for the two of you or with a group of friends or family members. We can most likely plan any type of vacation you want and we will be sure to address all your accessibility requirements and needs. We so enjoy doing the research for you and look forward to planning that next trip just for you! Also, if you see one of our groups that you would like to do but perhaps the dates don't work, give us a call. We can usually duplicate the same trip just for you and your travel companions.
