We Make YOUR Travel Plans EASY
Hello Spring. Watercolor spring flower and hand written text. Watercolor spring illustration. Hello Spring text background. Hello Spring lettering background for greeting card_ poster.
I've always been a "glass half full" kind of person. I think this is a good quality as long as I don't lose sight of reality. Reality right now is probably more dismal than it has ever been for all of us. However, this will pass, it will get better and we will all resume our prior lives and activities. On the positive side, my house is very clean, I am reading more and definitely cooking more than I have in years. I'm playing lots of scrabble and words with friends (feel free to start a game with me) and thinking about doing some classes online. On the negative side, work has definitely slowed down but I'm trying to enjoy the calm as I'm confident that I'll be even busier in the future. And, Guess What? We will all want to travel again. Everyone who receives this newsletter is an Adventurer and wants to resume exploring new destinations. I'm very antsy not knowing when I can return to my world travels. Many of you will be receiving Future Cruise Vouchers from postponed and canceled trips and please know that I am here for you to navigate all this and, most importantly, to help you plan your next cruise or vacation.
Be sure to get some fresh air because Spring has arrived and the trees are turning green and flowers are blooming. A little sunshine each day is needed for our physical and mental well being. Most importantly, please stay healthy, be well, practice social distancing and wash your hands. Washy, Washy!

Review of RCCL's Coco Cay & Symphony of The Seas

  • Another wonderful group of our travelers returned from a glorious week on RCCL's Symphony of The Seas on February 29, just before our world was turned upside down. We had lots of return cruisers and quite a few new ones. As always, everyone had a great time and made new friends while enjoying new experiences. This was our first visit to RCCL's newly redesigned private island of Coco Cay. I had the opportunity to have a private tour of the island in an effort to evaluate accessibility and to make constructive comments and suggestions as to how things can be better. It is important to keep in mind that Coco Cay is still a work in progress and not yet fully completed. All in all, I was quite impressed with what I saw. There are good paved paths but more are needed as well as better signage for wheelchair access. They have wheelchair accessible trams and beach wheelchairs in strategic locations around the island. As always, these are first come, first serve. Unlike on Labadee, you can just take a beach wheelchair but you will need someone to push it for you. If you need assistance, please make arrangements prior to visiting the island and request help. The very large Lagoon Pool has two lifts and plenty of space from which to access them. At this time, the cabanas located around the pool are not accessible due to sand and a step to enter. Coco Beach, a private retreat (extra cost), is fully accessible and beyond beautiful. Included in the cost of admission is a gourmet restaurant with waiter service. All the cabanas in Coco Beach including the ones over the water, are fully accessible. They are amazing! Your personal cabana butler will bring you lunch from the restaurant and anything else you need. There is a lovely pool with a lift and ocean views. Access to Coco Beach is via an accessible tram. The majority of RCCL's ship cruising the Caribbean will stop at Coco Cay where you can enjoy a Perfect Day!

RCCL's Allure of The Seas is
Coming to Galveston!!!

Great NEWS for Texans and everyone else as well.

Royal Caribbean has agreed to invest megabucks into the Port of Galveston to build a state of the art terminal building. The city of Galveston has agreed to build a new parking structure. For those of us who have been to Galveston, this is very exciting as the current port and parking leave a lot to be desired. As a result of this investment, RCCL will be bringing Allure of The Seas (one of my favorite ships) to homeport in Galveston in late 2021. Reservations are now open through the end of April 2022 and are expected to sell out very quickly. I have group space available the last week of April for anyone who is interested.
