We Make YOUR Travel Plans EASY

It's been a very busy few months and I realized that this newsletter is overdue! It seems like everyone wants to travel and I've been working long hours to accommodate your requests. Europe is the top destination with Alaska a close second. We've been booking European cruises as well as many private guided tours for our clients. We are also doing many multi-generational trips. Cruises are perfect for this as family members can engage in different activities during the day and then come together at dinner to compare experiences and then go to a show. Let me know how I can help you plan your next vacation experience. Don't wait too long...accessible accommodations sell out very quickly.

2025 & Beyond..

I've been working with vendors to start planning adventures for 2025 and beyond. Here's what I'm currently working on. A land trip to Amsterdam and Belgium in early April that will include a visit to Kukenhoff Gardens to see the incredible tulips and spring flowers. Next on the list is a trip to Spain with time in Barcelona and Madrid. This will be offered in early October, 2025. We have just completed planning a spectacular trip to Sicily for May. Details will be posted on our website under Group Trips in the next day or so.

If any of these have caught your interest, please email me with your contact information and I will put you on the interest list.

Where We Are Going...

Are You Coming With Us?

Portugal set objects

Fourteen lucky travelers will be headed to Portugal for an 11 night land trip on June 11, 2024. All of the participants have traveled with me in the past and several have traveled together. It will be like a travel reunion and I am so excited about traveling with all of these wonderful people again. Stay tuned for a full recap of our trip.

CRUISE UPDATE...

New ships are constantly being rolled out with more bells and whistles than before. Despite all the cabins sailing the high seas, accessible staterooms are selling out faster than ever. Reserve your cruise as far in advance as possible and be sure you secure it with a refundable deposit to protect your investment. Once you have secured a cabin, start reserving your accessible excursions as these are also selling out at an incredible rate. There are not enough accessible vehicles to accommodate all the travelers needing their services.

Do you know about American Airline's Mobility Identification Number?

I recently made my flight reservations to Portugal and South Africa on American Airlines. Afterwards, I called the Special Needs Desk at AA to discuss seats and let them know what type of mobility device I would be traveling with. They recently implemented a new system where they assign you a Mobility Identification Number or MOBI #. They take down all the pertinent information on your equipment including make and model number, dimensions, weight, battery type, voltage, amps, etc. Once your equipment is approved, you receive an email with the MOBI #. I printed this and will take it to the airport with me. The purpose of this is to prevent you from having problems at the airport. Both you and the gate agents and crew will know that everything has been approved and is ready to fly. They explain to you exactly what you need to do in terms of removing batteries and preparing them for flight. I think this is a great step forward in reducing stress from disabled travelers.

Please check with your airline of choice to see if they are using a similar program.

Be sure that all senior travelers are fully vaccinated and travel with their original proof of vaccination card.

Make arrangements in advance for wheelchair assistance at airports and cruise ship terminals.

Always carry medications and valuables in your carry-on. Do not pack in your luggage.
