From Steve and I to all of you and your families & friends who have been touched by the recent hurricanes, we send our love and prayers.   We hope that everyone is well and on the way to recovering from the terrible devastation from these storms.  The major cruise lines are doing an amazing job of helping the people in the Caribbean by bringing in supplies and generators.  Royal Caribbean is using three of their ships to house residents of the islands and is assisting with the rebuilding efforts.  The Eastern Caribbean has been hit the hardest but the port stops in the Western and Southern Caribbean are fully operational. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding the itineraries of your upcoming cruises.

Ireland 2017
A Huge Success!!!

We recently returned from an incredible 13 nights visiting both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  Our days began with an Irish breakfast buffet and were filled with magnificent scenery, historic sites, wonderful people and an abundance of shopping opportunities.  Our group definitely supported the Irish economy and everyone found souvenirs to their liking from hand cut Irish crystal to handmade Irish sweaters and scarves and everything in between!  The Irish people are extremely friendly and kind.  The staff at all of our hotels went out of their way to accommodate us and we are very thankful for that.  Tommy and Pat (guide and driver) were always considerate and helpful and handled our equipment and luggage with expertise.  Always willing to change out a scooter for a wheelchair when necessary!
I was once again blessed to travel with a group of fantastic people.  Everyone was always prompt, we never had to look for anyone, no one got ill or injured, the lift on the bus aways worked and, most of all, everyone had a great sense of humor!  As always, we laughed a lot and had tons of fun.  In fact, several of our group wants to return to Ireland so a trip in 2019 is on the horizon.
One of the many highlights of our trip was an evening in Killarney at Celtic Steps.  This was an outstanding show featuring music, song and dance by world champion performers.  They reserved the first two rows for us and the venue was fully accessible.  We loved visiting the charming fishing village of Dingle and most of us enjoyed eating award winning fish & chips as well as some Murphy's ice cream.  The most popular flavor is "Brown Bread"  which is little pieces of Ireland's famous brown bread mixed into their vanilla ice cream.  It is amazing!  Tastes like eating fresh bread and butter (I am a bread lover!).

New England & Canada
Escape With Us October 7-14, 2018
Norwegian Escape, round-trip New York
HURRY & RESERVE before they're GONE
We did this itinerary in 2014 and it is one of my favorite trips. Just ask the lucky people who sailed with us.  We all had an amazing time. We depart out of Manhattan and sail to Portland, Maine, Bar Harbor (may be tendered), Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John, New Brunswick.  The scenery is breathtaking and we should be on time for some beautiful changing colors.
This itinerary is in high demand.  Therefore, it is very important that you reserve your cabin as soon as possible or they may be pulled by ship inventory.  A deposit of $500 will hold your space and is fully refundable until June 15, 2018. Don't be disappointed.

Easy Access Travel Returns to ALASKA!!!
We will be doing another Alaska Group Cruise round-trip Seattle August 4 - 11, 2018.  This time we will be cruising with NCL on a ship being built specifically for Alaska, Norwegian Bliss.  She is not built yet but promises to be absolutely amazing with walls of glass for your viewing pleasure.  Complete details have been posted to my website.  We have just secured space and are anxious to share it with you.  NCL is known for the hulls on their ships being painted by famous artists.  The Bliss will have her hull painted by Wyland, famous for his paintings of whales and sea life that decorate many building walls on the West Coast.  We are also working on a two night Seattle pre-cruise adventure.
Please email or call to sign up.  Many cabins already spoken for.

TRAVEL TIPS
Traveling with a scooter or power chair?
Be sure to bring some shower caps to cover the controls if you get caught in a rain storm.  Getting the controls wet can cause an outage or make the scooters beep nonstop. Both are very annoying.  Also bring along some duck tape to secure the shower caps to prevent them from blowing away.  Bring some ponchos along as well.  These cover you and your mobility equipment very well.  I usually go to the Dollar Store and stock up on all items except the duck tape.  The duck tape at the Dollar Store is not good quality and too difficult to use.

Deb's Medical Update
& Travel Adventures

Happy to report my health is generally good.  Still trying to eat healthy although I must admit to having some Murphy's ice cream in Ireland (twice!).  I will be starting the process of a new prosthesis for my left leg and hope that will improve my walking.  It is definitely a work in progress!  The trip to Ireland was amazing and I enjoyed many power naps on the motor coach...long days are not easy.  Also had a quick weekend getaway last week to Southern California and enjoyed a glorious day at the beach.
