Welcome to August, everyone! To kick off this beautiful month of summer will be DAS Fest USA taking place at the Walworth County Fairgrounds! I remember the blood, sweat and tears it requires to facilitate a three-day German festival and I'm so glad this event remains part of Elkhorn's festival calendar! Hats off to all the men and women who work all year long to plan three full days of entertainment and activities that help us all discover our Deutsche!

Don't forget your dirndls and lederhosen as you make your way to DAS Fest USA. Prost with family and friends at one of the three entertainment stages and in the beer gardens. Get ready to cheer on the cutest four-legged athletes as they race to the 'wiener's' podium! And most definitely grab yourself a delicious plate of food from Mader's Restaurant!

Best of all, every dollar earned helps provide funding for over 40+ agencies that the United Way of Walworth County supports. Now that's something to celebrate!

Our next meeting will be June 8^th. Learn more about our exciting new programs for 2023 now that we have received 2 additional bikes on 5/30. We would really like to get your input on how we can better serve the community with the addition of 2 bikes, which brings our fleet to four! 

If you would like to attend in person at the Walworth County Health and Human Services Building, 1910 County Road, NN, Elkhorn, WI., we will be in the Walworth County room which is on the first floor. After you enter the building, you can turn to the right to the conference center area. You will then take another right to enter the large room. We no longer need to limit the number of participants due to the size of this room. Feel free to join us in person if you would like. We will continue to provide virtual and phone options as well.
