U.S. Department of Education

Launches "End DEI" Portal

U.S. Department of Education Allows Parents to Report Discrimination Based on Race or Sex in Public K-12 Schools

In a significant move to foster greater accountability and transparency within the nation's education system, the U.S. Department of Education has announced a new initiative allowing parents to report instances of discrimination based on race or sex in publicly funded K-12 schools. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that all students have access to a learning environment free from bias or unfair treatment.

With the introduction of this reporting mechanism, EndDei.Ed.Gov, the Department of Education aims to make it easier for parents to report concerns about DEI discrimination directly. The process will be accessible to any parent, guardian, or concerned party who believes their child has experienced discrimination in a K-12 public school.

The Department of Education’s Civil Rights Division (OCR) will serve as the central hub for receiving these reports. Parents and other stakeholders can file complaints through the Department’s online portal. The portal allows users to provide detailed accounts of incidents they believe may involve discrimination based on race, sex, or other protected characteristics. The portal guides users through a step-by-step process, ensuring that the information provided is comprehensive and clear. Once a report is submitted, the OCR will investigate the claim and take the necessary steps to address any violations found.

In addition to the online portal, EndDei.Ed.Gov, parents can file complaints via traditional methods such as phone or mail, ensuring that those without internet access or those who prefer other means of communication can still participate.

President Trump has actively been working to remove DEI initiatives in the private and public sectors. Parents, it is time to voice your concerns that have been ignored and pushed aside. It is time to get back to teaching academics.

Truth in Education is in the fight to keep parents informed on these crucial issues that affect parent's rights and to protect students.
