Bear Paw Festival

July 10th - July 14th, 2019

The Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring you the 34th Annual Bear Paw Festival!

Following the November 30th Cook Inlet Earthquake, we decided that using the theme "Shake, Rattle, and Rebuild" for our 2019 Festival would be a great opportunity to bring a positive spin to the Earthquake. Our close-knit community was hit the hardest, and yet, our community came together in the toughest of times to help each other out.

The long-term recovery of the earthquake will be years in the making. Some things may never be replaced, but as much as we can, we know how important it is in this recovery process to continue to highlight the positive things that occurred in our community, neighborhood, families and work places. As always, the Festival will also be a great way to bring in some additional revenue to our businesses during that week, so tell your friends!

Stay tuned for more information, festival events and community stories about the November 30th Earthquake in our Newsletters and during the Festival!
