FAMILY NEWSLETTER Fall 2024

Welcome to the

Saint Jude Parish

Fall Family Newsletter!

We pray that everyone has had a great start back to school! Our catechists and religious education staff are excited to begin religious education classes again later this month. This month is the month of Our Lady of Sorrows and next month is the month of Our Lady of the Rosary. May Our Lady intercede to her Son for all the parish families of Saint Jude!

Back to School Prayer

Loving God, each day as our children step further into the future, give them courage, knowledge and patience that they need.

Help them to love you with all of their heart, soul and strength. Remind them that you are always with them.

Help them to bring Your love to others.

Thank you for the gift of my children, the many talents you have given them and the ability to educate them in their faith.

May the way our family lives always be a reflection of You and the Holy Family.

Amen.

and Saint Padre Pio, a patron of adolescents

Catholic Moms Summit

Resource of the Month

The Family Daily Examen

"This guide offers Catholic families a structured approach to the daily examen, drawing inspiration from the spiritual practices of St. Ignatius of Loyola. It provides simple, yet profound prompts, questions and prayers to help family members reflect on their day, recognize God's presence, and cultivate a deeper spiritual awareness. Designed to foster meaningful conversation, accountability, and growth, this guide supports families in building a daily habit of gratitude, reflection, and connection with their Catholic faith."
