John C. Garand CMP
sanctioned competition on Range 8 was approved. MAtch date is March 2, 2019 after range cleanup. This will require a M1 Garand to participate. Good news DSRPC owns a few that members may borrow with a few restrictions. They can't leave the property, they must be returned intact and thoroughly cleaned, the competitor must use club owned ammunition. The intent is to make this a frequent competition.
is a very popular discipline. After a hiccup with the January event forcing its cancellation the match director is planning the first event for Sunday March 3. The event will be held on range 4B. Watch the calendar for details.
The Paralyzed Veterans on Nevada
asked for and was granted to use of the pistol range #4 for a competition. The event is planned for March 30 closing the range from approximately noon to 6PM. The DSRPC maintenance team has already stepped up by volunteering to handle the food, drink and BBQ for this great event.

DSRPC WORLD RECORD!!
I don't have all the info from the Match director but it is safe to say DSRPC held an Extra Long Range 22LR competition on Range 9 on January 19 and 2 world records were set. As soon as I get the details from the match director I'll let everyone know.
YES it is accurate that 22LR in not allowed on range 9. The E-Board gave permission to the ELR22 match director to hold the event on Range 9. Effective immediately after that match rimfire is once again banned on Range 9.
Stan Lapointe shot 250-20x during the VFS National Benchrest Shooters Association. match on January 26 at DSRPC. Congratulations Stan!!!
