Beauty abounds in this month's Bid Box.

Our "Bid Box" contains valuable jewelry, fine items, artwork and collectibles. The silent auction format allows customers to secretly bid on items they wish to buy, by bidding at least the opening bid amount shown

for any item. You can bid for as many items as you wish.

In addition to placing bids in person at our Thrift Shop,

Koa Wood Bowl

Crafting furniture and other objects from koa wood has a long tradition in Hawaii. The rich colors and varied grain patterns of this native wood lend themselves to some extraordinarily-beautiful pieces. This vintage koa bowl is no exception. It was handcrafted and signed by Irving C. Everett on Kauai. It measures 12 inches in diameter x 6 inches tall. What a beautiful item to display in your home!

14k Gold Hoop Earrings



These are 14k white and yellow gold pierced earrings. The white gold floral filigree design is edged in yellow gold. The hoops measure 3/8 inch x 7/8 inch in diameter.

Benin Bronze Head



This impressive example of African tribal art is fashioned from bronze, with patina showing its vintage status. This is a representation of a young woman from the Benin court, wearing the high pointed crown of lattice. It stands 13-1/2 inches tall.

14k Gold Omega Necklace

This omega-style necklace boasts 22.4 grams of 14k gold. It measures 16 inches long, and its graceful curve enhances many neckline styles. It is at once simple and elegant.

Crystal Wave Vase




This dramatic crystal vase was made by Cofrac Art Glass Verrier in France. It measures 30 inches wide x 15 inches tall. Resembling a splashing ocean wave, it would be the perfect vessel to display your red ginger or other vibrant Hawaiian flowers.

14k White Gold & Amethyst Ring

Amethyst is the February birthstone. This beautiful oval cabochon stone is set in 14k white gold. The amethyst measures 1/2 inch x 5/8 inch. The ring is size 8. Wouldn't this make a lovely birthday gift?

Honu Chopstick Holder

Six pairs of hardwood chopsticks are contained in this unique carved wood case, which features three honu. The case measures 10 inches long x 2-1/4 inches wide x 2-1/4 inches tall. Such a clever addition to your table!

Jade Necklace

This beautiful jade bead necklace is comprised of beads in graduated sizes from 8mm to 10mm. The necklace is 19-3/4 inches long and has a 14k gold clasp. Stunning!

Vintage Coin Purse

This vintage "beggar's bag" coin purse, circa 1930, is made of gold-tone chainmail metal, with an accordion opening. The bag measures 3 inches wide x 3-1/2 inches tall. It's quite a conversation piece.

14k Gold and Smokey Quartz Earrings

These lovely screw-back earrings feature transparent teardrop smoky quartz stones, measuring 3/8 inch across at the widest point. They dangle 1-3/4 inch in length from the 14k gold screw-back clips.

Antique Silver Plate Kettle

Ah, the elegance of tea (or coffee) served from this antique Reed and Barton silver-plated tilting kettle and warming stand. The kettle can tilt on the stand for serving or can be removed to allow free movement of the host or hostess. The kettle on the stand measures 13-1/2 inches tall. Tea, anyone?

Sterling Silver and Tanzanite Pendant

This sparkling pendant features multiple tanzanite stones in varying sizes, set in sterling silver. Even the bale contains seven small tanzanite stones. The pendant measures 1 inch in diameter x 1-1/4 inch, including the bale.

Greek "Blue Bird" Fresco

This vibrant fresco painting, titled "The Blue Bird" is a replica of a 17th Century B.C. fresco from Knossos. The back of the fresco indicates it is from Krete Heraklion Museum. The framed piece measures 10 inches x 14 inches.

Sterling Silver and CZ Ring

This sterling silver ring, by Tacori, features a large cubic zirconia stone at its center, encircled by several smaller cubic zirconia stones, which continue to the upper portion of the band. The ring is size 7 and is a real sparkler!

Clown Figurine

If you feel like clowning around, this adorable figurine, titled "Charlie", is

for you. It was made by Giuseppe Armani in Florence, Italy, and is perched atop a wooden stand. The figurine and stand measure 7-1/2 inches tall. Charlie, complete with oversize shoes and and baggy clothes, is riding a scooter, probably on his way to the circus.

Lavender Jade Pendant

This beautiful lavender jade chop pendant has a dog suspended from the 14k gold bale. The pendant measures 1/2 inch x 1-1/4 inches. This pendant would be striking on your gold chain.

Kitten Figurine

This precious porcelain tabby kitten, made in the U.S.A. by Boehm, will melt your heart. The figurine stands 4-1/2 inches tall. Is that mewing we hear?
