February 2022 Newsletter (Part 2)
Greetings Momentum and Bounce Families!

Tonight's practice is currently ON. I am monitoring the weather, as the snow is currently supposed to stop by 2:00 p.m. Please refer to the homepage of the website for any announcement of practice cancelation. If I have not posted, practice is ON. If you do not personally feel safe driving to the facility and practice is NOT canceled, please stay home and be safe

In the future, we will follow the same protocol. Practice status will be posted by 2:00 p.m. to the website and sent via Team Snap.

For this weekend's tournaments, schedules are slowly being rolled out. The Chicago Volleyball League schedules are posted here: http://glvbseries.com/cvl/ -- if you see them posted before I have sent an email, please text me so I can circulate the information to everyone

If at any point you have a question, the best way to reach me is via email at matt@clubmomentum.com or texting me at 312-504-4697.
Bounce - Strength and Conditioning & Mental Toughness

Strength & Conditioning
We are very excited to announce the return of our Strength and Conditioning Training, powered by Optimal Fitness. Beginning next week, all Bounce teams will begin a fitness program designed specifically for volleyball athletes to increase vertical, strengthen their core, and focus on athletic development specific to volleyball.

Mental Toughness
New this year, in addition to strengthening our bodies, we are also bringing in a professional to help our Bounce athletes and teams strengthen their minds. Lance Randall will be working with each team for 30 minutes once a month with the goal of better mindfulness, on and off the court. Athletes will need to bring a pencil and paper to the first session, and will receive their workbooks moving forward.
