With the extreme cold weather we have been having, thank goodness that February is the "Month of Love." I read an article recently that we should be active on social media for business to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Valentine’s Day is not a celebration that I usually reach out to my clients but in this article they suggest many ways we could be using social media to show our appreciation: 10 Valentine's Day Campaign Ideas for Social Media Interesting concept. Although I think any time, day, or season we should be saying " thank you" to those that have been supporting us. As I look over the distribution list that my newsletter reaches out to, I am humbled and so grateful for the hundreds of connections I have made since I established Meeting Coordinators, Inc. over the last 34 years. I don’t know where the years have gone. I guess it is true when they say that " Time flies when you are having fun". So, " thank you" to all of you for your connection and friendship. Without you we would not be in existence and certainly would not have survived these last two years of the COVID pandemic. |

We held our first Meeting Coordinators, Inc. Meet-Up last month. So happy to know that some of us are brave enough to face the cold weather and meet face-to-face. At your request and with that successful gathering, we will start meeting every other month again. Mark your calendar. The next Meeting Coordinators, Inc. Meet-Up is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th from 8-9AM in Troy, at Panera’s on Big Beaver at Rochester Road. Let me know if there were a topic you would like for us to discuss. P.S. Since it is February and that darn Punxsutawney Phil Groundhog saw his shadow it looks like we will have another six months…I mean six WEEKS of this pandemic winter. Did you know the tradition started in 1887 and is really called Candlemas Day?

The goal is to discuss ideas and to exchange advice on how to successfully plan, budget, organize, market, and run events on all levels.
