One more week. Seven more days. And then we eat, I mean golf!
Will there be golf? Yes! But the what makes my eyes go all star-shaped is the food! Ha! You might hear the words 'box lunch' and think back to your school-age days of eating room temperature bologna sandwiches and a fruit cup, but lunch at the Elkhorn Chamber Annual Golf Outing is the best way to start the day! We have to give a huge shout-out to, Hansen's IGA - Elkhorn, for sponsoring our lunch and making sure everyone starts the day well-nourished.
Golfers depart with more food, goodie bags filled with snacks, and battle for 1st, 4th and 8th place while playing 18 holes of golf at the beautiful Evergreen Golf Club. Then everyone makes their way back to the covered pavilion for...you got it: Steak Dinner!
