Fishers of Men

Luke 5:1-11

In this story, Jesus invites some young fishermen to follow Him. But in order to do so, they must leave behind two boats full of fish likely valued in the millions of dollars.

What would you choose? We are a church that believes in discipleship and Jesus is inviting each one of us to follow Him and become a fisher of men.

What does it look like to fish for men (people) in 2026 in Minneapolis? How can we as a church impact our communities with the Good News of Jesus?

We’d love to have you with us! Pastor Nate Jore will once again be bringing us the message!

Just a reminder that our Sunday morning worship service now begins at 10:00 AM. Join us at 9:30 for treats from Breadsmith - scones and breads! Plus, of course, coffee and tea.

WERE YOU PART OF HOPE’S 8:15 AM SERVICE?

We want to hear from those who previously attended the 8:15 AM service.

Please join the Elders this Sunday, September 13, at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall for a conversation about the recent changes and how Hope can best support and serve you moving forward.

Your input matters! We would love the opportunity to listen, hear your thoughts, and talk together about ways we can continue to meet the needs of our congregation.

Mugs & Muffins | September 19 at 9am ā˜•šŸ§

Ladies of all ages, grab your favorite mug from home and bring a friend, relative, neighbor, or coworker to Mugs & Muffins on the third Saturday of September!

Our speaker is Tami Demo! In a 2017 AFLC publication, Tami wrote the words ā€œLife’s been a journey. I’ve seen joy, I’ve seen regret. Oh and You have been my God through all of itā€ described her life. Her testimony centers on God’s faithfulness through both difficult and joyful seasons.

Enjoy a relaxed morning of fellowship with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and delicious muffins, followed by a time of worship and an encouraging speaker.

This is a FREE event, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and build relationships across generations.

Bring your favorite mug. Bring a friend. Come ready to enjoy a great morning together!

We’d love to see you there!

Provide a Meal for Our Young Adults

High School Graduates through Age 35

One of the goals of Hope’s Young Adult Ministry is to build meaningful community and create opportunities to grow together in Christ. One simple—and meaningful—way we do that is by sharing a meal together after church on Sundays!

Would you consider preparing and serving a meal for our Young Adults? It’s a great way to welcome them, get to know them, and help create a place where they feel connected and cared for. Whether you love to cook or simply enjoy bringing people together, your hospitality can make a difference! Save your receipts and you can be reimbursed for food supplies!

For more information, contact Miss Abby at igniteya@hopechurchmn.com or call the church office at 612-521-3547 x2001.

We’d love to have you be part of building community at Hope!
