One of Precast Services, Inc.' erection crews will be busy through June of 2019 erecting 884 pieces of structural precast panels for Penn Medicines new Advance Outpatient Center Parking Garage.
The 994-car garage is being built adjacent to the 250,000 square-foot Outpatient Center.
“This facility will provide exemplary outpatient care and contains all of the services you would find in a hospital setting with the exception of beds for overnight stays,” said Rob Cottone, President and CEO of IMC Construction. “It is a ground-up building, easily accessible by car or public transportation and highly energy efficient.”
The Outpatient Center is located on the former BioMed site and within walking distance of the Radnor Train Station. Clad in brick masonry and high-performance glass, the building has abundant natural light and views of nature. It is targeted for a sustainability level of LEED Silver.
Penn Medicine Radnor will house a heart and vascular center, comprehensive cancer care, women’s health, orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine, neurosciences and other medical subspecialties, with eighteen (18) different departments within the facility. An outpatient surgery suite includes six (6) surgical and four (4) endoscopy rooms, along with full radiology and laboratory services.
