Free Guy

Free Guy got held over for the fourth week. We want to say thanks to you all for coming out to support the "little" Odem Theater Pub. Our booker, David, sent me an email Saturday morning to let me know our Friday showings of Free Guy on screen 1 was the highest grossing screen that night for any film he had booked on his 140 screens. So thanks for supporting us in these crazy times.

The Thursday preview, September 2nd is up for the new Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It is the first Marvel title since Spiderman-Far from Home, to be released exclusively in theaters. Looks like a solid film sitting at a solid 91% and certified fresh at Rotten Tomatoes. One showing this Thursday at 6:15. Looks like a real strong opening and we might have to add a show Thursday night

Again, a huge shout out to all of you for making the Odem Theater Pub a success! Without you, we couldn't continue to provide the unique movie experience, great food, drink and friendly atmosphere that you love.

Thank you so much!!

Ryan Reynold is at his best in "Free Guy," as a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story... one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way... before it is too late.

The Eyes Of Tammy Faye
September 17th

The Eyes of Tammy Faye Is getting a lot of Oscar buzz with the always great Jessica Chastine. She is one of the most respected actors of her generation. Her recent portrayal of Tammy Faye Bakker is a testament to her exceptional onscreen presence and talent.”
“The Eyes of Tammy Faye” will track “the rise, fall, and redemption through the ’70s and ’80s of thick-lashed singing televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker, who rose with her husband, Jim Bakker, from a humble beginnings to create the world’s largest religious broadcasting network and theme park.” Eventually, their heavy spending and financial improprieties brought down their empire.
