Welcome to Freedom High School where learning is our top priority and our focus is on literacy, rigor and relationships. Our school's pillars of honor, excellence and tradition continue to be on display on a daily basis by our students, staff and community.
I would like to begin by commending our incredible student body for their school-wide collection efforts to help our extended Patriot Nation families in Puerto Rico as they continue to recover from Hurricane Maria. I am so proud of their initiative. I would also like to congratulate our Student Government Association for leading a wonderful homecoming week that included students and staff participating in fun dress up days, a big win for our varsity football team, and a successful homecoming dance.
Wednesday the entire student body will be engaged in a schoolwide PSAT/SAT initiative. Our freshmen, sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT, while our seniors will take the SAT. This is a fantastic, no cost opportunity for our students.
I look forward to seeing you at our many upcoming events, especially next Thursday, Friday or Saturday night as our award winning drama department presents their fall play,
The Crucible. See below for ticket and time information. Have a great week and, as always, GO PATRIOTS!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jennifer Cupid-McCoy
Principal
