I hope and pray that your week has gone well.
Josephine Kelly is back and will be speaking at Stone Tower this weekend. Please lift her talk in prayer.
Our Religious Liberty series is starting June 9 through June 13, and then Vacation Bible School will be happening the week after. Please pray that people's curiosity is sparked, and that they decide to check out both events and get connected to Christ.
This week, our teens covered Apologetics, Part 4: "Did Jesus Really Rise from the Dead?" We will be concluding next week with Part 5: "How to Share Your Faith with Your Friends." From there, we will be regrouping for the summer schedule as school will be done for many.

A quick note about church cleaning:
Our church is cleaned by volunteers each week. We are looking for people to help lead a church cleaning rotation. If you have time to spare and feel called to serve in this way, please reach out to Melissa Brownell. There will also be signup sheets available at church.

The title itself implies that the latter rain must have been among us as a people once before. If so, then exactly what was it and when did this occur?
As Ron Duffield reviews our history, our hearts will be strangely warmed as we see, perhaps as never before, that this great second Advent movement was raised up by God to give the latter rain message.

"Freedom and Faith: Keeping Church and State Separate" - Special Religious Liberty series featuring Jonathan Zirkle, Manual Avitia and Eva Tompkins. This topic is of keen interest to those who are following world events and understand our role in them, as we have learned from the ground we covered in 1888.
This will be secular friendly, so plan to bring your non-church friends! We’re looking for someone --preferably near the church -- to host two female participants. Medical Volunteers Needed at Big Lake!
Big Lake Youth Camp is looking for RN's, NP’s, PA's, paramedics, social workers, and counselors to volunteer at camp this summer! Spend Sunday through Friday at Big Lake helping support the health and well-being of our campers and staff so they can fully enjoy their week at camp. We especially welcome those with experience in family medicine, emergency care, or pediatrics. As a thank you for serving, a child of your choice can attend a week of camp for free! PANTHER PROWL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! - TUESDAY, JUNE 9
As we are nearing the end of another great school year, our annual Panther Prowl event is right around the corner -- Tuesday, June 9! For those who are not familiar with this event, Panther Prowl is a PAES tradition and a fun day for our students and staff to come together and celebrate the end of the school year. There is a free lunch for all students, a fun run, games, and snacks! HOWEVER, we are needing volunteers to help run booths, pass out snacks, help in the kitchen, and more in order to make this happen. PAES is still in search of a full-time treasurer to join our PK–8 campus. This role requires good communication, flexibility, and skills in bookkeeping/accounting (QuickBooks experience preferred; training available). Responsibilities include billing, payroll, reconciliations, A/R and A/P, 1099 filing, budgeting, and monthly/year-end closing, with occasional reports to the school board. PAA Summer World History: Give Your Student a Head Start - and a Place to Belong
If you know an eighth grader thinking about high school, we would love for them to picture themselves at PAA - starting strong, feeling confident, and already known and loved before the first day of school.
PAA's Summer World History Class makes that possible. Students earn a full year of high school credit in six focused weeks, with small class sizes, personal attention, and just one subject to focus on. It is a gift of confidence before the full high school experience begins.
The class runs June 22 - July 31, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 1:20 pm. Tuition is $450, and enrollment is limited.
