Preschool

Hello Trinity,

Trinity Methodist Preschool is a vital ministry of Trinity UMC! Thanks to our church's generosity and support, this vital ministry has emerged from the pandemic and is back to full strength! Over 80 children and their families trust Trinity with their children to receive care, fun, education, and the love of Christ as they walk through the preschool doors. The preschool staff includes 14 hard-working women. Thanks to them, Trinity is a place where children thrive!

Our big news this month is the Silent Auction. We raised close to $9,000 for our new playground equipment. We also received some grant money and can do more of an upgrade than expected! We are also making the equipment more challenging and fun for our Trinity Tuesday elementary school friends!

Thank you so much for your continued support!

A NEW MURAL

The Beautification Subcommittee of Trinity’s Trustee Committee has been busy working to beautify the exterior of our church campus once again. After painting the outside of the Narthex with a fresh coat of white paint in 2022, they filled in the blank space between the windows with this beautiful Mural.

Working together with local artist Pat Z Roberts, we were thrilled that she could take our vision and bring us this completed project in time for our Easter celebration.

Our Mural Vision: Just as Jesus Christ rose from the dead after the crucifixion, new life rises out of the stagnant wooden cross on stony Golgotha, visited by the Holy Spirit to give us hope for a better world to come.’

Pat Z has been painting for many, many years. She primarily paints with acrylics but loves oils, also. Pat is active in several local art groups…. ADSO (Arts and Design Society of Fort Walton Beach ), where she is currently the gallery chairman, and OPA (Okaloosa Public Arts), where she participates in all their shows.

Pat’s art can be seen at HHARTS on Beal Pkwy. in FWB and Artful Things in Niceville. Pat also teaches acrylic painting for CLL(Center for lifelong learning), ADSO, and HHArts.

We like to thank Pat Z for all of her talent and time spent painting & bringing our wall “to life.“ And we’d especially like to thank the vision put forth by our Beautification subcommittee for enhancing their wonderful fountain location. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Harvey Hanson and John Peters for putting down heavy paver stones for the bench in front of the mural and Candy Broxson for painting the bench.

Please call the church office for more information, donate, or participate in future projects.

TRINITY'S FIRST WEDDING

Marriage is a joyous occasion; its sacredness and unity are the most significant and binding covenant known in human relations.

Fifty-nine years ago on March 20, 1964, two people stood in our Sanctuary stood in front of their friends, family, and most importantly, God, and received His greatest gift; another person to share with, grow with, change with, be joyful with, and stand with as one when trials and tribulations enter their lives.

God has written your love story, sustained your marriage, and taught you to rely on Him. We absolutely love you guys!

Happy Anniversary to Phil & Theresa Wood!
