Trinity Trumpeter | September 15, 2023 | |
Last week, our Trinity Kids spent time blessing the new playground. The children gathered around the playground as they said a prayer of thanks for this new space to play safely and have fun.
After, the kids wasted no time exploring the new playground. This experience reminded us all of the importance of community and coming together to celebrate the good things in life. We are so grateful for this new playground for our preschool and Trinity kids! We look forward to all the memories that will be made on this playground for years to come.

Parking Lot Improvements
We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed improvements to our parking lot with the installation of new speed bumps. Purchased by our awesome Preschool, these speed bumps are designed to ensure the safety of all drivers, passengers, and especially the children on our premises daily.
We kindly ask that you drive slowly and carefully over the speed bumps and follow all posted signs and markings. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we strive to provide a safe and pleasant environment for everyone who visits Trinity.

We are overjoyed to inform you that we have welcomed TWO new members into our Trinity family since August. With great enthusiasm, we extend our warmest greetings and heartfelt welcome to:
Nicole White

Eric has been a regular attending guest over the last few years, and Nicole has been a frequent guest this past year and currently serves as a Youth Leader. We hope to get to know our new members better and assist them in their spiritual journey. As they embark on this new chapter as members of the Trinity Family, let us offer our support, guidance, and love.

Volunteer Meeting
As you know, Trinity United Methodist offers the healing, help, and hope in Jesus Christ through genuine, heartfelt worship and learning experiences. None of this would be possible without you, and you make the Trinity experience for guests and members beautiful.
Following BOTH worship services on Sunday, September 17, we will host a brief volunteer meeting for those interested in volunteering and participating in the Trinity experience.
For contemporary worship, we will have volunteer sign-up sheets at the back of the fellowship hall, and for traditional worship, we will have the volunteer board in the Narthex hallway.

The OAKS
We would like to have our first get-together on Wednesday, September 20th, at 11:00 AM in the Youth Space. We will have a potluck lunch and brainstorm ideas for upcoming gatherings. Please let Mary Allen or Kim Pennington know if you can attend so we can arrange for seating.
The OAKS (Older Adults Knowing the Savior) serves to address the spiritual, social, and educational needs of adults in our church and community, specifically those who are 65 years and older.

Please join us for a farewell reception to celebrate Matt as he embarks on a new adventure on Sunday, September 24, at noon (immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service) in the Memorial Fellowship Hall.
Matt joined the Trinity family in 2007 as our Youth Director and served in that role for 15 1/2 years before transitioning to the Family Life Minister, where he has served the past year. We want to take this opportunity to wish him all the best as he begins a new chapter as the Director of Student Ministry at Community Life Church in Gulf Breeze, FL. We are grateful for the time he spent with us, and we have no doubt that he will thrive in his new role. Matt's last day will be Sunday, September 24. Below is a message from Matt.

"I am so grateful to Trinity for these 16+ years of investing in me. I have learned so much and been mentored by so many of you! God has richly blessed my family and me through the outpouring of love here at Trinity.
I know that as my family leaves to follow God's call in a new location, we will take the joy and memories that will last forever. Thank you for everything!"
