Hello Trinity,

We wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans. As we honor those who have served our country on this Veterans Day, let us remember the selflessness and bravery that they have shown in defending our freedoms.

It is because of the dedication of our veterans that we are able to enjoy the privileges that we have today. They have put their lives on the line to protect our country and ensure our safety. Their commitment and courage are truly inspiring, and we owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid.

On this Veterans Day, let us take the time to reflect on the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families, and to express our heartfelt thanks for all that they have done. May we never forget the contributions that they have made, and may we always honor their service and sacrifice.

Veterans Day Ice Cream Social

Join us for our annual Veterans Day Ice Cream Social event on Sunday, November 12, in our Memorial Fellowship Hall at 2:00 p.m. with a special patriotic show!

All veterans and their families are invited to enjoy free ice cream and good company in honor of their service and sacrifices.

This event is our small way of showing appreciation for everything our veterans have done for our country. We hope to see you there, and thank you for your service!

AROUND THE CHURCH

We are excited to announce that we will begin having church FAMILY DINNERS! Once a quarter, we will host a potluck dinner. Join us on Wednesday, November 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We invite everyone to bring their favorite dishes to share with our community. It's an excellent opportunity to get to know each other better and enjoy delicious food together.

We will take some time to recognize Laura Finley, whose dedication and hard work have been invaluable to the success of our team, church, and community as she departs from the Trinity Staff team. We'll also introduce new members to our Trinity family and highlight a few ministries and upcoming events.

Please label your dish and indicate if it contains common allergens, such as nuts or gluten. We look forward to seeing you all there and sharing a wonderful meal!

The holidays can be a difficult and lonely time for those who are grieving. During this 2-hour session, suggestions for coping with the holidays will be discussed, along with a video and workbook to provide additional help. We hope you will join us in person in a safe and secure environment.

The annual Thanksgiving Dinner/Lunch has been a long-standing community event. Our church family loves serving everyone who walks through our doors on Thanksgiving Day. The guests who spend time here become part of our family, too!

This year, our dinner coordinator, Deb West, plans to lead our team of volunteers again to create a delicious traditional Thanksgiving Day feast.

Donations of turkeys and desserts are needed and can be brought to the church office during the day the closer we get to Thanksgiving.

We are excited to announce that we are now offering notary services! Whether you need documents notarized for personal or business purposes, our Business Administrator and Communications & Operations Coordinator are here to help.

We are offering this service free to Trinity UMC members and $10.00 per notary signature for non-members. Please contact the church office to schedule an appointment and let us take care of all your notary needs.

TRINITY KIDS

Kids Ministry Continues

With the departure of our Kids Ministry Coordinator, Laura Finley, we wanted to reassure everyone that the Trinity Kids Wednesday programs and Sunday morning services WILL CONTINUE!

An Interim Kids Ministry Coordinator, Jessica McClung, will run the Wednesday after-school program and Sunday morning kids' church. We will continue to provide a nursery for currently the 9:45 service.

Thank you for your patience and support during this time of transition! If you want to assist with the Kids Ministry, please get in touch with MaKenzie Johnson in the church office.

November Worship Night - Nov. 12

Sunday, November 12, is our next worship night! During this month of thankfulness, we will discuss the importance of gratitude with Melissa!

TSM Friendsgiving - Nov. 19

One of our favorite Sundays of the year is coming up! November 19, from 6-8, we will have our annual Friendsgiving. This is a potluck night; be sure to sign up with what you plan to bring at the sign-in table over the next few weeks. We will eat dinner together, hang out, and play games before going on break for Thanksgiving.
