Experience the Magic of the Season

A CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

Hello Trinity,

We are just a few days away from our Christmas Spectacular Sunday! This upcoming Sunday December 8, we will have a FULL DAY of Christmas programs!

START your morning with the Trinity Kids Christmas Program at the 9:45 service. Our hard-working Trinity Kids will perform an exciting journey through the nativity story. All kids are invited to participate. All you have to do is SHOW UP, and you'll get a role!

THEN the Chancel Choir Christmas Cantata, "Hope," at the 11:00 service. The Christmas story unfolds through six compelling choral settings as scripture readings guide us to the manger and reflect on the promise of hope we find in Christ's birth.

AFTER, bring your favorite appetizer or dessert to share as we gather in the youth room for good food and fellowship. You bring the food, and we'll bring the coffee and hot chocolate!

Stay for both services and then join us afterward in the youth room. Bring your favorite appetizers and desserts. We'll provide the hot chocolate and coffee!

The Trinity Kids will host a special screening of the movie "The Star" during the 11:00 service for all interested children or parents who'd like to stay for the Cantata. The Nursery will still be available for children ages 0-4 during both services.

The OAKS - Christmas Cookie Exchange

December 11

Join us on Wednesday, December 11, at 1:30 p.m. in C112. We will have a festive afternoon filled with sweet treats and holiday fun! Bring a batch of your favorite holiday cookies to share and exchange with friends and family. Don’t worry if baking isn’t your thing—store-bought goodies are welcome too! After the cookie exchange, get ready for some exciting Christmas games that will bring out the holiday spirit in everyone!

Jolly Gent's Christmas

December 12

Calling all Gentlemen! Join us for a festive evening of fellowship and fun at our Jolly Gents Christmas on Thursday, December 12 at 5:30 p.m.! We'll meet at Lou's Tavern/Sports Bar at 605 James Lee Road, FWB, FL. There will be a pool, darts, TVs, and Video games with plenty of laughs as we embrace the spirit of Christmas. Whether you're a longtime member of Trinity UMC or new to our community, all are welcome to come and share in the joy of the season.

Christmas Eve

December 24

Join us for a special Christmas Eve service at Trinity UMC on December 24th at 2:00 p.m. for our Contemporary Worship or at 4:00 p.m. for our Traditional Worship.

Experience the joy of the season with carols, candlelight, and a message of hope. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with us. We look forward to seeing you there!

Nursery will be provided for ages 0-5.

ODB Christmas Dinner

December 25

Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen will host its annual Christmas Day Dinner on Wednesday, December 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We hope you'll join us for a festive meal overflowing with holiday cheer.

One Service Sunday

December 29

On Sunday, December 29, to wrap up the 2024 year, we will have one combined service in the Sanctuary with a special guest, Rev. Chip Hale.

This combined service will be a time for worship, gratitude, and community, and we reflect on the blessings of the year and seek hope and inspiration for the year to come. The nursery will be available for children ages 0-4 years old.

STUDENT MINISTRY

Feeling Festive Christmas Party (Dec. 18)

We are excited for our annual Christmas party, where we will celebrate together as a TSM Family. This year's theme is Polar Express. Wear your PJs! All the gifts, prizes, games, and fun will be provided; you only need to bring a dish to share! An esteemed panel of judges will judge all dishes, and the top three will receive a prize!

Last Minute Christmas Shopping

(Dec. 22)

It's a long day, but it's the perfect chance to get the shopping done for your family or any last-minute things you need before Christmas arrives! We will start the morning at the 9:45 a.m. service to worship together. We will leave Trinity around 11:15 a.m. We will go to the Outlets and the Destin Commons. Students will need money for shopping and lunch at the Outlets or Commons.

TRINITY KIDS

KIDS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM (DECEMBER 8)

Our Trinity Kids is taking over the Contemporary Worship service on Sunday, December 8, with the Kids Christmas program! Join us for this interactive and exciting walk through the nativity story, and then stay for the 11:00 Christmas Cantata featuring the Chancel choir. We will host a special showing of the movie "The Star" for all kids during the 11:00 service.

We also need volunteers to help with the Christmas Program, such as getting costumes on and making sure kids are where they are supposed to be. If you're interested in volunteering, please get in touch with Jessica McClung at kids@trinityfwb.org or call the church office at (850) 862-4169.
