The National Capital Trolley Museum’s annual Holly Trolley Fest will be held this year on Saturday and Sunday November 30 - December 22 from 11am - 5:00 pm.

Reservations are required for this event.

Visit with Santa** down our mile-long woodland railroad, featuring a holiday ride on our historic street cars.

Enjoy a holiday model railroad display crafts for children, photo opportunities, hot chocolate and treats, and more! Come aboard for this special holiday event!

Introducing our newest book...

MUSEUM PARTNERS WITH SANTA SCHREURS ON CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS BOOK

The book Jo and the Holly Trolley describes the adventures of a young girl who is looking for the perfect holiday presents for her family. The Trolley Museum plays a major role in the story.

A unique feature of the book is a combination of photographs and original illustrations. Part of the story takes place at the Trolley Museum, and the photographs are taken in the Museum and feature some of our streetcars and volunteers.

National Capital Trolley Museum is collaborating with Santa (Steven) Schreurs (author and producer), Eddie Kang (photographer), and Bobby Weschler (illustrator) to create this original Christmas story book based on the Museum’s Holly Trolley event. 

Jo and the Holly Trolley and some related items, including a trolley “wish coin,” will be available for purchase in the Museum store starting in late November.

A portion of the proceeds from books and related merchandise will benefit the Trolley Museum.

The Trolley Museum is open every Saturday from Noon - 5:00 p.m.
