Show a shelter animal some love

You are invited to participate in "From the Heart" and tie blankets for adoptable dogs and cats living in shelters and foster homes!

Volunteer events are planned at the La Vista Public Library on February 8, 15 and 22, 6-8 p.m.

All items will be provided and volunteers will tie the blankets, which will be donated to local animal rescues and shelters, who will also be onsite to provide education about adoptions. Adoptable dogs and cats will be available at the Library on select dates.

Advance registration is required to participate. Sign up today!

The La Vista Public Library will grant amnesty for overdue fees to participants at the From the Heart events.

Participants are also encouraged to bring donations of pet food and towels, which will be given to the local animal organizations.
