Dear New England Cross Country Skiers,

Today, May 5th 2020, is #GivingTuesdayNow, a day designated to mobilize the global community to give in the spirit of supporting the communities and non-profits in response to the disruption caused by the coronavirus.  https://now.givingtuesday.org/
With all the uncertainties, our April Fund drive was 40% below our goal. Please consider giving today to help NENSA continue to provide services and programming.

This past weekend the 16 members of the NENSA Board met along with the staff to discuss the next year and beyond with concerns of Covid-19 disease transmission in our future. Our mission is to continue to be the central resource for all things Nordic in New England and we have set a course to provide increased online community connection, education and programing as well as continued conversation with our constituents on alternative perspectives of hosting events.

Last month the NENSA staff kicked off April with a virtual challenge that was well received with many submissions of wonderfully creative videos from toilet paper relays to clever ways to train apart yet together. You can view these videos on our social media channels as well as subscribing to the NENSA YouTube Channel page. This month NENSA’s virtual programing continues with the #25KinMAY challenge where young to old, beginner to advanced can ski for NENSA. Join us in doing the challenge:  https://nensa.net/event/25kinmay/

Thank you for supporting NENSA with your time, talents, patronage, and participation.
