The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA) announces its upcoming show, GLITCH, opening on February 16, 2019 with a preview on February 14. GLITCH closes on March 9, 2019.
According to gallery director Rex Bruce, GLITCH focuses on "... work using error material, data mosh, glitch, noise, in-camera distortions, cracked screens, damaged circuits, fractured machines and the like as the medium from which art is created."
Featuring work from 30 artists representing a wide variety of techniques, materials, and procedures the gallery's three interconnected spaces will be filled with a diverse collection of digital prints, videos, VR, interactive and media art. In addition, on Opening night live music displaying various states of glitch will be performed by Rex Bruce and Richard Paske.
