Principals Message

We are so proud of our students for getting off to an incredible start this school year. Thank you to our returning students for welcoming our new friends and helping to support them as they navigate GOC's unique learning environment.

One of my many priorities as the Principal of GOC is ensuring a safe, secure and successful environment for all students and staff. Each of us is accountable for taking an active role in keeping our school safe and secure by following the district-wide Security Management Plan. With that said, I need each and every student to arrive on campus
with their school issued ID Badge to be used to  scan upon entering and exiting the building every time you arrive on campus. Thank you for your support and working with us on our
safety and security initiatives.

Grades 4-12: Beginning of Year Document Sign-Off

We are pleased to announce that GOC's 2019-20 beginning of year contributions and documents will continue to be supported through MyPaymentsPlus. This is your avenue for viewing and printing documents required for the new school year. All parents are asked to log-in to their students MyPaymentsPlus account to ensure that all important documents are completed.

Grades 4-12: GOC Arrival and Dismissal Plan

Parents picking and dropping off students
The safety and security of our students is a top priority to us. Please be sure to take all precautions when dropping off and picking up students.

Arrival drop-off begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. for weekly campus labs. Please do not drop your student off until a staff member is outside and accessible to students in the car rider line. For students who have a pre-arranged meeting or appointment with a faculty or staff member, they will be required to buzz in utilizing the Visitor Management System prior to 8:30 a.m.

Please follow the dismissal schedule for your students appropriate grade level. Students must be picked up within 15 minutes of their on-campus lab or after school scheduled activity, otherwise, they will be asked to wait in the Productivity Center.  Parents will then need to park and enter the building to pick-up their student.

Please be mindful, GOC does not have available staff to monitor students prior to 8:30 a.m. or after on-campus labs or scheduled campus activities.

All students will arrive and be dismissed through the front doors. Hi Hope Road or Hurricane Shoals Road should NOT be blocked with cars waiting to pull into the
car rider line. Please access the  2019-2020 GOC Car Rider Map to review the GOC traffic flow plan for arrival and dismissal.

Owl's Nest Cafe

We would like to invite all students to patronize GOC's new Owl's Nest Cafe.
We have had lots of students and staff members lined up to purchase beverages, many taking a few minutes to relax and chat with fellow students and friends before and after on-site campus labs.

In the near future, a variety of pre-packaged snacks will be offered on the menu.  .
Grades 4-12: Full-Time Student Photo ID Badges

Gwinnett Online Campus Student Photo ID Badges have been distributed to all full-time students. If you did not receive your badge, please stop by the front office the next time you are on campus.

As part of the district wide initiative, GOC strictly adheres to all safety and security standards as part of the Safe, Secure, Successful Schools initiative. GOC's security management plan requires all students to visibly wear or carry their ID badge with them on campus at all times to scan upon entering and exiting the building. Students who lose their badge or do not consistently bring ID badges to campus will be issued a new card resulting in a $5 replacement charge. This charge will be applied to the students MyPaymentsPlus account.
