Removing COVID-19 Restrictions Presentation

This presentation will discuss, how we safely come out of COVID. Let’s discuss the fears of the unknown and get information and tips on ways to be with family, friends and loved ones yet remain safe.

Trans 101 Workshop

This workshop is about creating and strengthening transgender inclusion, wherever you are. An introduction to the basics of gender, trans identity, and trans experience, with opportunities for a deeper dive into trans-inclusive policies and actions, and practical skill-building for acting in solidarity with transgender communities.

Shaped by Sylvester - Tiki spills the Tea

Born in Watts, Los Angeles, to a middle-class African-American family, Sylvester developed a love of singing through the gospel choir of his church. Tiki met Sylvester, then known as Dooni, and that friendship influenced her life. Listen to her tales of growing up black and trans in LA in the 60s as a part of the Disquotays with a good friend that soon became a disco superstar

In meditative drawing, the artist’s intention is to reach a state of flow through the connections made from pen on paper. Exploring the six elements of art, we begin with the line and move through to shape, form, value, space and lastly texture, as we explore the different elements of art we incorporate them into our drawings.

LGBTQ+ Older Adult Tea Party BAM Pride Celebration

Paying homage to the queer tradition of the tea dance popularized in 1960s New York, this year’s.
Pride party brings together community members from Brooklyn Older Adults LGBTQ Community and the general public for an intimate outdoor event in downtown Brooklyn, right next to BAM. The celebration features DJs; drag, line dancing and performances. This is an in person outdoor event.
Due to capacity restriction this is an invitation only event. Participants Must Register for Entry!!
