Did you know?
A vision screening is a test of an individual’s vision that checks for potential sight problems caused by eye conditions such as hyperopia, strabismus, and astigmatism (among others).
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation currently uses Welch Allyn SPOT screeners, advanced optometric devices which return results with 85-90% accuracy and are 100% non-invasive.
On average, individual screenings take between 30 and 45 seconds.
A vision screening is NOT a substitute for a full eye exam.
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation is proud to partner with volunteers from local Lions Clubs around the state to provide SPOT screeners for local community/school screenings for reservation.
For more information on how to reserve or use a SPOT machine please reach out to Kaelin Hill at khill@lionslighthouse.org or 770-738-4659
