Due to physical limitations, Boots was unable to live in the paddocks with her friends. Instead, Boots slept in a cozy stall each night and roamed the farm freely during the day. A sweet, gentle, and motherly mare, she always greeted her friends with cuddles and nickers and loved a good molasses treat.
In honor of Boots, we are Getting Our Boots On! and throwing a FREE open house event on Sunday, April 11th from 10-2.
Stop by anytime to receive a FREE treat bag and take a self-guided tour of the farm! Stroll past some of Boots' favorite spots along her daily roam, meet her friends and learn more about our retired racehorses!
We will also be providing light refreshments, hobby horse races for the kids, and selling homemade baked goods made by our amazing volunteers!
