Barakat Pakistan today is deeply intertwined in the lives of the refugees who flow from Afghanistan to Pakistan as one crisis after another reverberates through their country, their lives, their communities. Barakat Pakistan is a community resource that the refugees turn to time and again. It is a well known, long established reference point for new refugees as they try to find their feet in a new country. Through word of mouth, Barakat Pakistan's role in their children's wellbeing and education is immediately apparent to incoming refugees. It does not take long for them to send their children to us.
