You Helped Break Lakeside's #GivingTuesday Record!
Be cause of your incredible generosity, you broke Lakeside's #GivingTuesday record by raising $495,516! We pause today to give tremendous thanks for the gifts and blessings Lakeside has received on #GivingTuesday and every day.

Your collective donations have made a huge impact and will go towards the renovation of the basketball, sand volleyball and multi-purpose courts in Bettinger Park, a major capital project.
Special thanks to a Lakeside family who stepped forward in a big way with a transformational gift toward the courts. The furthest gift came from Arizona, and five Lakeside families who have been giving for more than 30 years consecutively gave on #GivingTuesday. More than 200 families supported this year's project, and donations are still coming in the mail!
The renovations will transform the courts into a state-of-the-art outdoor recreational facility and will allow us to host sports clinics and camps, as well as enhance the programs that already take place in the park.
The current basketball court will be rotated, resurfaced and expanded to include multiple court configurations and six basketball hoops. Additionally, a new surface and two hoops will be installed at the multi-purpose court.

There will also be better drainage for a new sand volleyball court that will utilize a rubberized perimeter curb to ensure safety and provide sand containment.
Bettinger Park will be enhanced with new lighting, buried electrical lines, irrigation and a rain garden that will allow deep-rooted plants to consume the natural water.
On #GivingTuesday, Lakesiders also gave to the Endowment and the Lakeside Annual Fund in support of the Chautauqua program, Rhein Center, Lakefront, Lakeside Symphony Orchestra, Hotel Lakeside, Mack Mobile, youth programming, Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus, new Pickleball Center, recreation, grounds, historic buildings and gardens. Gifts were given in memory of loved ones and in honor of birthdays, children and grandchildren.
Regardless of size, each gift helps to transform the lives of Lakesiders by providing opportunities for renewal and growth while nurturing mind, body and spirit.

Even though #GivingTuesday has passed, it's not too late to participate in the spirit of giving this holiday season with a gift to an area or program your family loves at Lakeside.

Thank you again for your generosity and for transforming the Lakeside experience for generations to come.

In the spirit of Chautauqua,
