Let's wake up! A Powerful Reminder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8a41oLhPEc

With all this oppression happening around us we tend to do everything to help the cause, but pray and make sincere du'ā (supplication). Du'ā is the strongest weapon Allah has blessed this Ummah with, but it is the last thing we do.

Whenever a calamity befall the Sahabah (RA), they would go to the masjid and collectively make du'ā to seek Allah's mercy and help.

Upon doing consultation with one of my teachers, Mufti Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera, it was advised that one of the best prayers to make during a calamity is the Qunut al -Nazila prayer.

Let's all revive this sunnah together!  "It is part of the sunnah to Pray Qunut al-Nazila  (Prayer during Calamity) when the general Muslim public in any part of the world, is afflicted with a calamity, the Qunut al-Nazila should be recited in the Fajr prayer." - Mufti Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera, UK.

Alhamdulillah with Mufti Abdur Rahman's support, I would like to invite you all to join our Ummah for this Global Prayer for our oppressed brothers and sisters on Friday, July 18, 2014!

For this to be successful, I need YOUR help!

  • Encourage your Masajids to continue this tradition and pray the Qunut al-Nazila Prayer after Fajr Salaah.

*Request your masjid to make du'ā for all the Muslims oppressed everywhere (Gaza, Burma, Syria, Africa, Kashmir, China, America & more).

Let's all UNITE and stand in prayer together for all our beloved brothers and sisters being oppressed globally.

An-Nu'man ibn Basheer reported: The Prophet , said, "The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever." - (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim).

Lastly, it is important that we stay informed about the oppression happening worldwide, so that we may make du'ā for our brothers/sisters and help them in any way we can.

Jazakumullah khayrun
