News from Zion
The supplies are sorted...
The blessing cards are blank...
The bags are empty...

We need you!

Come to worship this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. ready to praise and thank God for our many blessings. Following worship, we will use our hands and hearts to bless others. And, if you have a yellow Zion shirt or Thrivent "Live Generously" shirt, wear it!
AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE & GIVE

As part of our commitment of being "Church together," Zion is teaming up with other congregations in responding to recovery efforts in the Bahamas by encouraging you to help us focus our resources through the Florida-Bahamas Synod Disaster Response Fund. This will allow our contribution to directly benefit our sister congregation, Our Savior's Lutheran, in Freeport, its members, and the surrounding community. You may also make individual contributions to Lutheran Disaster Response.

According to Bishop Suarez, “due to the unique international dynamics of The Bahamas, gift cards and supplies are not as helpful as financial donations. These funds—to BOTH the synod disaster response fund AND Lutheran Disaster Response—allow us to be most flexible and responsive to those in need.”

To contribute, designate a pew envelope or the memo line of your check “ Bahamas Disaster Response ” or go directly to the Florida-Bahamas Synod website ( www.fbsynod.com ) to find a hyperlink to donate online. 100% of the monies will be used for disaster relief.
