BREWING FOR GREENWAYS
Next month we will kick off our fall Brewing for Greenways season with the i9PA Beer Release on September 7th at the Salvage Station. The collaboration with Industry Nine Componentry will benefit Connect Buncombe and include a tap takeover, giveaways, bicycle keg-pull and DJ dance party. We'll see you there!  LEARN MORE
  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: GREENWAY TRAFFIC COUNTS
Asheville's Bike & Pedestrian Task Force is looking for volunteers to help collect bicycle and pedestrian traffic statistics along the greenways next month. Official counts will take place during daily morning and evening commute times from September 12-16. We hope you will get involved with this important community project! LEARN MORE
  GREENWAY CONSTRUCTION 
Construction cost and complexity continue to be limiting factors for greenway expansion in Buncombe County. Several projects are seeking public input and support to move forward, including the River Arts District Transportation Improvement Project ( RADTIP) and the Woodfin Greenway & Blueway plan. Our latest blog comes from Board member and Incoming President, Robbie Sweetser. As kids are heading back to school, Robbie shares the importance of greenways for youth development. We must preserve the joys of childhood- outdoor play and exploration- for the next generation. The future depends on greenways! LEARN MORE
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: ARX HALF MARATHON
The Asheville Running Experience will take place Sept 22-24 and feature three separate running events through Asheville's most beautiful neighborhoods. Volunteers are needed on September 23 to assist runners along the greenway of the half marathon course. Please help out if you can! LEARN MORE
