BREWING FOR GREENWAYS
October is Brewing for Greenways month! To celebrate, One World Brewing is donating $1 for every pint of Ashevegas Pale Ale sold to Connect Buncombe- all month long.   SOUTHEAST GREENWAY SUMMIT
Last weekend several board members attended the Southeast Greenways and Trails Summit in Durham, North Carolina. The event, hosted by the East Coast Greenways Alliance, was open to community leaders and citizens interested in greenway and trail development, industry networking, and participating in a variety of keynote speakers and activities.   COMMUNITY GREENWAY WALKS
Connect Buncombe will be hosting several community walks along the greenways this fall and winter. Walk for 1-2 hours and experience a different neighborhood greenway each time. Upcoming dates: October 14, December 2, January 13. RSVPs encouraged for attendance. LEARN MORE
BOARD NOMINATIONS
Connect Buncombe is a led by an all-volunteer team. The organization relies on active participation from board members to take on leadership toward raising awareness and funds for greenway development in Buncombe County. The Board of Directors is seeking nominations for the next term, December 2017 - November 2019. Applications due October 18, 2017.  LEARN MORE
