Metro Housing Partners with Property Owners to Provide Homes for the Homeless

Metro Housing|Boston has announced a collaboration with local property management companies aimed at addressing homelessness in Greater Boston.

This innovative partnership marks a significant step forward in the fight against homelessness by leveraging available housing resources and policy changes to provide safe and stable accommodation for those in need.

Through this collaborative effort, Metro Housing works closely with property owners to identify vacant apartments that can be rented to families who are currently in the emergency assistance family shelter system.

By tapping into these resources, Metro Housing and the owners aim to reduce the amount of time it takes for families to exit the shelter system and find a safe place to live.

In addition to rent assistance, owners can avail themselves of incentives, including up to $4,000 upon lease signing.
