Unleash your child's imagination this summer using nature for inspiration! Young artists ages 6-12 can explore their creative side and learn new skills in mosaics, weaving, book folding, twig art and more! $65 per Young Artist per session, all of the materials are included.

We will offer 3 different sessions

SUNDAY June 16
Mosaics are a fascinating ancient art form that use individual pieces to create unique art. Join Tracy Thompson for a Mosaic Workshop where she encourages you to experiment with color and texture to begin discovering your creativity.

This workshop is deal for all skill levels, from first timers to seasoned mosaic artists. Bring a design idea and you will be guided through the mosaic making process from start to finish!

Chief's Basket
Sun July 11th 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Back for summer by popular demand!

Barbara Sadler will be offering this wonderful "Chief's Basket" Class on Sunday, July 14 from 2-6pm.

HendersonJAM kids will be performing in the Atrium for Carson Peters performance at The McGlothlin Center for the Performing Arts on Emory & Henry Campus. Performance is set for Tuesday, June 11 at 6pm.

Letterpress Workshop
Saturday, June 22
Join Catherine for a Letterpress Workshop. Open to all skill levels, learn shop etiquette, the basics of type design, and experience a variety of print presses. You will print a simple poster and get a foundation for printing future projects on your own. Cost of the workshop is $45 To RSVP click here...

Watercolor Classes

Join Catherine Schrenker on Saturdays from 10-1 for Open Studio Watercolor Class. Cost of the class is $10 and all supplies are included. There are also watercolor supplies for purchase in our Henderson Art Store.

Please check Calendar to make sure class is scheduled.

Letterpress on Saturday

Once you take a formal workshop (next one is scheduled for June 22) you are free to sign up for "Open Studio" which is offered to those that are comfortable in the shop to work on their own projects on their own time.

Cost for Workshops are $45 for all supplies. (You have an instructor for workshops, and on your own for "Open Studio")

Cost for "Open Studio" is $35 for all supplies and you can pay when you arrive.

  • Pick a painting
  • Set a date and time
  • Show up and have fun!!!

Birthdays, Anniversaries, Girls night out, Office appreciation, or just unwind and have a good time with friends. Cost is $25 per person.
