Service for Laura O'Shaughnessy


On Monday, August 3rd a funeral service for Laura O'Shaughnessy will be held at First Congregational Church, 25 Park Place, Lee, MA.


Details are as follows:

12-1:00pm: Calling hours in the Community Room of the Lee church

1:00pm: Funeral service in the sanctuary officiated by the Rev. Marisa Brown Ludwig

3:00pm: Burial at Our Lady of the Valley cemetery, Salisbury Rd., Sheffield, officiated by the Rev. Jill Graham

3:30pm: A Reception will be held for family and friends at Old Parish Church


You are invited to join Laura's family and so many throughout the Berkshire Association and beyond to honor the life and love of our sister and to commit her spirit to God's safekeeping.  

  End of Season Picnic Coming Up


The 2026 Appalachian Trail ministry has entered the 7th of its 8 week run, which means it is time to mark your calendars for our annual Host Church End of Season Picnic at the tent beginning at noon on Sunday, August 9th!


Before the tent is taken down, we'll finish with a picnic of all who've participated in some way - in person, through donations, prayer and joy!


Meat and buns and any other leftover food on hand will be provided. Bring a side dish, salad, beverage or dessert to share, as well as a folding chair.



We’ll meet you at the tent to tell stories and celebrate another season of extravagant hospitality and kindness.

Steeple Lighting


The Steeple is lit for the month of August by Marilyn Wightman in honor and memory of her husband John.


Future Steeple Lighting Sponsorships are available starting in 2027.


It is a lovely way to honor a friend, an occasion, a memory or loved one.
