Easter Sunrise Service

The Easter fire burns among us and in us. Though the sun was not visible, God’s Light arrived right on time. Not the dampness of an April morning nor its accompanying drizzle, not the presence of evil no matter how pervasive or persuasive. In the midst of a broken, divisive and despairing world, the power of Life is rising up. Nothing can stop Easter from coming. Alleluia!

Thirty-two people braved the brief early morning to attend our service. At its conclusion, many of them stopped by the house to share coffee and an early morning bite to eat.

Rescheduled Easter Egg Hunt

Good thing Easter is a season and not just one day!

Due to last Sunday's rain, the Easter Egg Hunt has been moved to the rain date.

Plan to bring young egg hunters to our rescheduled Easter Egg Hunt, this Sunday, April 12th at 11:15am.

Holy Humor Sunday

Holy Humor Sunday has been moved back a week to Sunday, April 26th.

The theme will be "The Housie Runs Through It: A Celebration of Life in and Around our Beloved River."

Perennials for Arbor Day

Looking for help dividing your plants? Volunteers from The Sheffield Farmers Market are willing to help!

They will take some of the divided plants to sell at the Arbor Day Plant Sale on Saturday, April 25th at the library to benefit the Market's Triple SNAP program.

Email Erna Lampman at ernalampman@gmail.com or call (413) 644-5777 to set up a date and time.

Steeple Lighting

The Steeple is lighted for the month of April by Linda and Peter Chidsey with prayers for peace in our hearts and in the world.

Future Steeple Lighting Sponsorships are available beginning in May.

It is a lovely way to honor a friend, an occasion, a memory or loved one.

Thank you for your generosity in giving toward the ministries of this church. Love flows because of you!
