Want to save money on your next water bill? The City of Miramar, in partnership with Broward County, is offering rebates of up to $600 for upgrading your sprinkler system. Visit broward.org/irrigationrebate to check eligibility and apply. First come, first served!

Three sites below are still operational and offer free COVID testing: 


Children’s Reading Center & Museum (Walk-Up) – Testing & Vaccine:

This site offers free PCR testing for all ages; rapid nasal swab (cue) testing for ages 2-18 with results in 30 minutes; and Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and older. Site is open Monday through Friday from 9AM – 6PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Appointment not required. Facial covering is required. This site is operated by the Florida Department of Health in Broward.

 

Paul Hughes Health Center (Walk-Up) – Testing & Vaccine:

This site offers free PCR testing for all ages; rapid nasal swab (cue) testing for ages 2-18 with results in 30 minutes; and Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and older. Site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8AM-5PM. Closed Sunday and Monday. Appointment not required. Facial covering is required. This site is operated by the Florida Department of Health in Broward.​

 

South Regional Health Center (Walk-Up) – Testing & Vaccine:

This site offers free PCR testing for all ages; rapid nasal swab (cue) testing for ages 2-18 with results in 30 minutes; and Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and older. Site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8AM to 5PM. Closed Sunday and Monday. Appointment not required. Facial covering is required. The South Regional Health Center shares a campus with Memorial Health System, but the test and vaccine sites are operated by Florida Department of Health in Broward.​


A number of pharmacies, private health companies, urgent care centers and community health centers offer testing. Fees may apply. 

Many retail and online outlets also offer a variety of in-home test collection kits for purchase.

The Federal Government is currently mailing free at-home test kits to residents.

​If you are homebound and cannot visit a test collection site, please call DOH-Broward at 954-412-7300 to make an appointment for an in-home test.

MASKING UPDATE: Masks are not required in City facilities; however, they are strongly encouraged.

The County has temporarily will temporarily close the COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application portal to provide time to review and process previously submitted applications.

The application portal will close on Sunday, July 17, 2022, and will reopen on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Prior to and following the portal closure, applicants can still access in-person assistance with applications and documentation, if needed, at each of the four County Family Success Centers, located in Coral Springs, Hollywood/West Park, Fort Lauderdale, and Pompano Beach. Appointments are required.

For non-COVID-19-related assistance, please contact your nearest Family Success Center for services.

The County encourages residents to visit Broward.org/RentAssistance for program updates and to check the status of their application. Residents are also encouraged to submit all appeals/complaints to Cares.Broward.org/Feedback. For more information, call 954-831-3727 (ERAP) or email [email protected].
