2022 Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado Grants

Dear Suicide Prevention Community,
The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado Grants Committee will be offering ten (10) reimbursement grants to non-profit organizations within Colorado that are seeking funding for suicide prevention-related opportunities. Proposals must be sent in a PDF format and received electronically by 5:00 pm MT, June 15, 2022. The funding period will begin July 15, 2022. All successful applicants will be notified on July 15, 2022, and announced in the SPCC July 2022 Newsletter.
This is a reimbursement grant. The grantee must follow a certain procedure to obtain reimbursement for project expenses. Reimbursements are provided on a set payment schedule after the organization has submitted sufficient documents to verify expenses. All sufficient documents must be received by December 17, 2022.
Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)3 in Colorado. Grant applications for up to $2,500 may be submitted. The SPCC Grant Committee will support suicide prevention activities in, but not limited to, evidence-informed best practice training/education, community events, equity and/or diversity, collaborations, and/or a guest speaker. The grant reimbursement can consist of supplies, materials, limited travel costs, training, speaker fees, and up to 10% of the award for food.
Five of the eight assigned reviewers will score each application using a rubric. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, reviewers who have formal or financial connections to an organization will not review, vote on, or have a say regarding that particular organization’s application.
