Support Our Church

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10 a.m., in-person and online. Nursery care is available during worship, and we offer children’s ministry time as well as activity bags and weekly handouts to keep little hearts and hands engaged.

Masks are optional at all church events for the fully vaccinated. You are always welcome to wear a mask, and those serving Communion and working with our children will still mask.

Say No to Plastic and Yes to Fashion this Saturday

Now you can go green in style, with a uniquely hand-crafted market bag, made of washable fabrics by our very own St. Andrew's volunteers. The bags will be available at this Saturday's Corner Market at the St. Andrew's table. Bags are $6 each or 2 for $10. All proceeds support Mission & Outreach projects.

You can buy a bag at the Corner Market June 25th!

Show Your Love with Pinwheels

St. Andrew's youth are raising funds for their upcoming Glory Ridge mission week by planting gardens of pinwheels! For a suggested donation of $100, you can send a friend some love in the form of dozens of bright pinwheels in their yard. Order at the link below or with a pinwheel envelope from church. You may pay by check or online. Our EYC thanks you! Email [email protected] with any questions.

Abundant Life Volunteers Needed

We have an urgent need for your help with this important ministry.  On Monday, July 25 neither of our current stalwarts will be available and that's where you'd come in.

St. Andrew’s supports Abundant Life Ministries in many ways: monthly cooked dinner offerings and pantry donations, weekly delivery of food boxes to neighbors in need, funding through the Outreach Committee and weekly help with gathering up grocery store and A&T farm produce donations. It takes many hands to provide this much-appreciated service.

We currently have two specific needs where your help would be most welcome: On every second Tuesday, our ‘St. Andrew’s Day’, Abundant Life is looking for one or two of us to greet neighbors who come for Bible Study and stay through supper.

The second need is for someone to collect the donated food on Mondays from 10:30am - 12:30pm and deliver it to Abundant Life where other volunteers will help you unload it. Two of us are currently doing this weekly service, and we would really welcome a third person’s help. Please contact Barbara Cooke (336-521-0040 or [email protected]) with your interest is this service ministry. We’d love to have you join the team!

Let's Keep Food on the Shelves this Summer

The Outreach Committee supports the year-round collection of canned goods and nonperishable food items for the One Step Further food pantry. The need for donations increases in the summer when schools are out. Please continue to pick up a burgundy bag from the narthex and bring it back the following week with your donations. You may also pick up and drop off bags outside the office. Thank you for supporting our Greensboro neighbors.

New Volunteers Are Welcome to Join Our Memorial Garden Guild

The guild oversees the appearance of the Memorial Garden to ensure its serenity. Guild members rotate each month to check the garden and remove dead flowers and other debris. This service is very rewarding and does not require a lot of time. Some members work together as a team. If you are interested in joining, please contact Nancy Bishop at 336-908-6099 or [email protected]

The Streaming Ministry Is Looking for New Volunteers

Our Sunday morning livestream has become an important ministry in our life together and keeps our community connected in worship.

Folks who are interested in learning about cameras and microphones are encouraged to join. Volunteers will receive training in the operation of the broadcast system and will work in conjunction with existing volunteers to help broadcast our services online. Contact Robin Hardman at [email protected] if you're interested!
