Make Your Stewardship Pledge for 2022
In our annual giving campaign, we have celebrated God’s wonderful gifts to us by taking time with God to prayerfully consider how we can give of our own time, talent, and treasure with joy. If you haven’t made a pledge yet, you may request a pledge packet from the office or make your pledge online. If you already have made your pledge, we thank you for generosity. We are better together!

We Welcome All "Newcomers" this Sunday after Worship
If you have been visiting, are new to the church, have been worshiping online and are ready to participate in person... or just want to learn more, please join the Invite, Welcome and Connect committee this Sunday, November 14, for a warm welcome after church, in the Parish Hall. There will be refreshments, lots of information about upcoming events, and a chance to get some of your questions answered about all that is happening here at St. Andrew’s. Please let us know you're coming, by emailing Lynda Sanecki at lsanecki894@gmail.com. If you’re unable to join us in-person, we still invite you to fill out a virtual Visitor & Newcomer Card

Together We'll Deck the Halls
Your donations are greatly needed as the big day—
December 4—gets closer
Note the new time is 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., scheduled to coincide with your Corner Market shopping. Check out our online sales site to order your wreaths, arrangements, gingerbread house kits, and poinsettias. The new 2021 Honor Card is also now available online. As we won’t be gathering for our traditional coffee hour, please look for our “Green Apron” crew to accept your donations for the wine pull and all the rest!

Angel Tree Gifts Collected through December 7th
Once again, we will be joining with Hope for the Holidays, an annual gift drive for children in foster care, sponsored by the Children's Home Society. For many years we have engaged in this ministry in conjunction with our celebration of St. Nicholas who blesses the gifts we send off for these children.
We ask that unwrapped presents be delivered to the church by December 7th. Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping to provide a joyful holiday season to children in need.

Christmas Flower Dedications are Coming...
The Altar Guild will be placing envelopes in the pews later this month hoping that many of you will donate money in honor of or in memory of someone or some event. This money will help the Altar Guild purchase materials to decorate our church for Christmas. Your dedication will appear in the Christmas Bulletin.

St. Andrew's Prepares for Afghan Refugees
St. Andrew’s is joining with St. Francis Episcopal Church and with Church World Services to support an Afghan family in their upcoming resettlement process in Greensboro. The Mission and Outreach Committee has an initial budget of $5,000 to support at least one family’s housing needs for 5-6 months. Additionally, each St. Andrew’s interest group (choir, youth, vestry, etc.) will help by adopting a particular form of support for the family, such as household items or food. There will be other ways to help that involve some advance training, such as transportation assistance and educational outreach. If you would like to help in any of these ways or have questions, please contact Doug Sanecki at dpsanecki@gmail.com.

Remember These 3 Things on Nov. 13th
The Episcopal Church has designed the Day of Love to bring awareness to World Kindness Day and the ONE THOUSAND DAYS OF LOVE campaign. The purpose is to highlight good deeds in our homes, congregations, and our communities, focusing on the positive power and the common thread of love that binds us. November 13 will be a day devoted to the positive potential of both large and small acts of love.
Please join us by taking part in three acts of love:
1. Check-in with someone you haven’t seen recently.
2. Thank someone special in your life.
3. Do something for children.
