Support Our Church

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10 a.m., in-person and online. Nursery care is available during worship, and we offer children’s ministry time as well as activity bags and weekly handouts to keep little hearts and hands engaged.

Masks are optional at all church events for the fully vaccinated. You are always welcome to wear a mask, and those serving Communion and working with our children will still mask.

Father_s Day Drive for Family Justice Center Children.png

Our Toy Drive Wraps Up this Sunday, June 19th!

St. Andrew’s is partnering with the Family Justice Center (FJC) to provide sensory tools and stimuli for children who must testify or be deposed related to traumatic experiences. You can help by donating fidget spinners, pop-it fidgets, pocket Etch-a-Sketches, Silly Putty, Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty, Rubik’s Cubes, and puzzles of 25 pieces or fewer, by June 19th. Look for the FJC basket inside the narthex.

Show Your Love with Pinwheels

St. Andrew's youth are raising funds for their upcoming Glory Ridge mission week by planting gardens of pinwheels! For a suggested donation of $100, you can send a friend some love in the form of dozens of bright pinwheels in their yard. Please visit https://bit.ly/EYCPinwheel or use one of the pinwheel envelopes in the church to order. You may pay by check or online. Our EYC thanks you! Email [email protected] with any questions.

Say No to Plastic and Yes to Fashion

Now you can go green in style, with a uniquely hand crafted, market bag, made of washable fabrics by our very own St. Andrew's volunteers. The bags will go on sale Saturday, June 25th, at the St. Andrew's table at the Corner Market. The price is $6 apiece or 2 for $10. All proceeds will support our Mission and Outreach projects.

New Volunteers Are Welcome to Join Our Memorial Garden Guild

The guild oversees the appearance of the Memorial Garden to ensure its serenity. Guild members rotate each month to check the garden and remove dead flowers and other debris. This service is very rewarding and does not require a lot of time. Some members work together as a team. If you are interested in joining, please contact Nancy Bishop at 336-908-6099 or [email protected]

Congratulations, Class of 2022!

Paul McGraw, son of AmyRuth and David McGraw, from Grimsley High School

If you know of a graduate we have not recognized, please let us know so we can celebrate their accomplishment! Contact Susan at [email protected].

Let's Keep Food on the Shelves this Summer

The Outreach Committee supports the year-round collection of canned goods and nonperishable food items for the One Step Further food pantry. The need for donations increases in the summer when schools are out. Please continue to pick up a burgundy bag from the narthex and bring it back the following week with your donations. You may also pick up and drop off bags outside the office. Thank you for supporting our Greensboro neighbors.

Folks who are interested in learning about cameras and microphones are encouraged to join. Volunteers will receive training in the operation of the broadcast system and will work in conjunction with existing volunteers to help broadcast our services online. Contact Robin Hardman at [email protected] if you're interested!
