Glory Ridge Mission Trip is a Success
The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Youth Community had a successful Glory Ridge mission trip! The youth worked hard serving those in need in the Madison County community. The crew worshipped daily with gusto and enjoyed delicious meals prepared by our kitchen ministers, Charles and Shelley Kappauf.
We, as a church family, should be so proud of our youth. They answered the call to “make work worship,” representing St. Andrew’s church with honor. The youth worked in the extreme heat tearing up a kitchen subfloor, hauling lumber, installing a mobile home door, and clearing debris from an overgrown lot. The EYC will present, with more detail of their adventure, to the congregation in the near future.
Many thanks to our adult leaders: Scott Durham, Charles and Shelley Kappauf, Rachael Revell, Kelley Root, and Anna Taylor. This mission trip would not have been possible without their commitment of time and devotion to our youth.

Come to the Corner Market
Come support our community Corner Farmers Market every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. It is a bounty of fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers! The market pops up every Saturday in its new home, our Kensington St. parking lot. Vendors accept SNAP and participate in WIC benefits as well. Learn more about the market at www.cornermarketgso.com.

Do you have a favorite hymn? Is there something you have been longing to sing? One of the things we missed most about in-person worship was singing together. Let us know what you want to sing in worship this summer. We will feature congregational favorites through Labor Day. Send your suggestions to Ann Doyle, at ann.doyle1313@gmail.com.
