We were grateful to host Alberta's Minister of Children's Services, Minister Schulz, for a tour of Sonshine in May. We discussed the vital importance of providing specialized care to support vulnerable children who have been impacted by domestic violence.

Towards the end of April, we welcomed MLA Jeremy Nixon for a tour of our space where we engaged in meaningful conversation about how we can work together to help women and children transform their lives. Recently, MLA Nixon shared his positive impressions of Sonshine at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.

Sonshine appreciates the support and encouragement of Minister Schulz and MLA Nixon, and we are so grateful to work alongside partners like Ruth's House and Sagesse to impact change. Together we will continue to work toward creating and sustaining healthy families and communities in a world free from violence.
