Review of Withholding Allowances

It is recommended that all employees review their Federal and State withholding allowances and carefully consider whether or not to make changes at the beginning of a new year.

Required by law:

  • Employees claiming exempt status on either State or Federal taxes, who would like to continue this exemption in 2024, must refile their exemption using the MyHR system. This can be done by logging into the system and changing your federal and state withholdings with an effective date of 1/1/2024 or after.
  • If this is not completed by February 15, Highland Hospital is mandated to change the employee's withholdings to Single/Married Filed Separately effective February 16.

Please remember training material is available. Go to the MyHR page and select the Training option on the left.
